Ham Radio Tools is a software application designed to assist ham radio operators with various tools and functionalities. The program features a contact log and a collection of calculators and tables tailored to benefit both novice ham radio enthusiasts and seasoned professionals alike.

The updated version now comprises band limits for All Amateur Licenses and provides calculators specifically tailored for Yagi, Dipole, J-pole, and Vertical antennas. Additionally, the Callsign Lookup feature has been integrated seamlessly into the application, with the database being sourced from the FCC website and updated daily, exclusively catering to U.S. callsigns.

Results obtained through Callsign Lookup include details such as address, current and past license updates, update dates, license type and class, along with a direct link to the FCC database for further information. Moreover, users can conveniently map addresses using Google Maps by simply tapping on the address provided.

The contact log functionality enables users to record essential information about completed contacts, including date, start and end times, frequency, mode, station details, location, signal reports, and general comments about each contact. This feature proves invaluable during field day operations and for overall bookkeeping purposes. Additionally, data and start times are automatically populated to streamline the logging process, while end times can be completed automatically upon saving a log entry.

The search feature within the contact log allows for quick retrieval of specific long-distance contacts based on user-defined criteria. Users can customize search fields based on preference. It's worth noting that search keywords are case-sensitive.

The application also encompasses a concise summary of band limits for each license class to guide users effectively. For detailed band planning information, users are encouraged to consult the official ARRL Band Plan.

Furthermore, Ham Radio Tools includes straightforward formulas and calculators for quick reference in the field relating to Yagi, Dipole, J-Pole, Vertical antennas, and wavelength calculations.
